Staff Assistant VI:
In this position, along with the
normal staff assistant duties, I give assistant to the security officers,
correspond with the Department of Defense on security issues, I submit visit requests,
update a database that contains information to secure facilities, submit
employee time sheet, answer security question, and assist the receptionist at
the front desk.

Assistant VI: While in this position, I created a
database in FileMaker Pro to track all publications for the division and
subcontractors. I made lab equipment purchases and assisted in writing
proposals. I assisted in compiling
information for the Sensor Network Operations book; I found reviewers and
followed the manuscript through the publication process. I compiled information for annual reporting
of Characterization and Mitigation of Service Failures in Complex Dynamic
Systems MURI and Emergent Surveillance Plexus MURI. I was in charge of finding reviewers for
papers submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics
– Part B. I followed these manuscripts through to publication. As part of
my normal duties, I was responsible for office equipment, answering telephones,
making appointments, scheduling conferences, and making travel arrangements.

I started a coffee shop from ground up.
I was in charge of ordering supplies, equipment, maintaining equipment,
bookkeeping, hiring, training, and managing staff, and making all major
decisions for the company.

this position, I managed manuscripts and reviews for the journal using
FileMaker Pro.

Assistant V: I was the receptionist for the
department office, greeting students and visitors. I handled bi-monthly wage
payroll for the department and handled student drop/adds. I was also responsible for 9
professors’ work, and schedules of appointments. In this role, I performed routine typing,
filing, answering telephones, office equipment maintenance, ordered office
supplies, and distributed the mail. In
addition I assisted the professors with creating manuscripts, proposals, and
grants. I developed a department
newsletter and served as the Webmaster for the Nutrition Department along with
computer deputy duties.

I have a
